"Nintendo Land is not the type of title to be enjoyed alone, even if some of the games accommodate single players and provide some worthwhile challenges. Playing this game with friends and/or family is the best way to experience it, either in short bursts (such as the Luigi's Mansion or Mario Chase games) or in longer play sessions (such as Zelda: Battle Quest or Pikmin). A lot of fun overall."
"I can never seem to play this game for too long as my interest always fades fast. Fun and challenge can be found with just one player, but it gets old fast. Bringing a full line up friends can extend the fun and the amount time you can spend on this, but Nintendo Land is best played with the family."
"I'll be honest, this game really surprised me. While I understood its potential as a tech demo, I wasn't prepared to be this engaged by it. Is it worth the $59.99 price tag though? I'm sceptical. However a few of the mini (or macro, in Metroid's case) games are pretty challenging, and as a pack it I'm enjoying almost (but not quite) as much as Wii Sports"
"This isn't a game you play with your friends. This is a game you play with your family. You don't play this with only up to 5 people but as many people as you can jam into the room. This is about people reacting to the video feed of the person trying to not get caught in Mario Chase or the people getting caught in Luigi's Ghost Mansion. The "attractions" are just OK but the experience is great. "
"Single player review. Games are simple tech demos and lack the appeal and replayability of Wii Sports. Zelda, Metroid and Pikmin games are obviously inspired by the franchises. Other games have a theme tacked on. Starts to lose appeal quickly. Online leaderboards or online multiplayer could add some much needed spark. "
